1987 / History! Jim van Overbeek studied Art & Design in Amsterdam but he was also a sportsman. Jim (white helmet) was member of he Dutch National Cycling Team for the Tour of Ireland '87 (The Milk Rás).

Jim van Overbeek met famous fashiondesigner Frans Molenaar who presented a special 'bicycle in leather', designed together with Sparta Bicycles. Jim van Overbeek made art for Batavus Bicycles in the past, so this was a nice moment to discuss art, design and bikes.
